On the 3rd Wednesday Michael Cain runs a singaround at The Grasshopper, Hillside, Southport. A nice little micropub in the suburbs of Southport, nr Hillside Stn.

Apart from the 1st Monday Guest House singaround, Nev Grundy runs an afternoon singaround at Tap & Bottles, Cambridge Arcade, Southport on the last Monday in the month from 2 - 5 and an afternoon singaround at The Lion Tavern, 67, Moorfields, Liverpool L22 2BP on the 2nd Tuesday 1-30 - 5

On the 4th Thursday there is a very well attended afternoon traditional music session run by Dave Middlehurst at The Red Lion Wheelton near Chorley 1 - 4

At present Pete Gammon is running an afternoon traditional music session on the 1st & 3rd Friday afternoon 1 - 4 in Chorley. Shepherds Hall Ale House & Victoria Rooms, 76, Chapel St, Chorley. (just next to the bus station) The organisers ask to please bring tins etc as a donation for the local food bank.

Gratefull Fred's Americana, Roots and Acoustic nights. The best in Americana is brought to Southport, some concerts at The Atkinson & some at The Bijou Cinema (Bothy venue)
